Class Descriptions

Hatha 1/2- The sort "Hatha" is both the umbrella term for all physical practices of yoga and the yoga of opposing energies, ha (sun) and tha(moon). Honoring both common usages, YogaWorks Hatha classes offer a balanced bond-body practice and draw on wisdom from the many rich lineages of yoga asana. The well- rounded sequences temper heat and strength with flexibility and stillness, addressing the body and mind in equal measure.

YogaWorks Flow 2 -   YogaWorks classes balance precise instruction, alignment with breath, and fluid movement. Classes are carefully themed to deepen the students' experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutes and postures are skillfully sequenced , and modifications are used to individualize the practice for each student. The YogaWorks Teacher Training Program is based on this clear and effective style of practice. Level 2 is moderately paced with precise instructions to introduce more advanced poses and dynamic transitions.  This class is led with music.

YogaWorks Flow 2/3-   YogaWorks classes balance precise instruction, alignment with breath, and fluid movement. Classes are carefully themed to deepen the students' experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutes and postures are skillfully sequenced , and modifications are used to individualize the practice for each student. The YogaWorks Teacher Training Program is based on this clear and effective style of practice. Level 2/3 is vigorously paced with dynamic transitions through poses and include advanced postures such as handstands, arm balances and backbends, breath work and yoga philosophy. This class is led with music.

Vinyasa Flow-  Vinyasa Flow is a vigorous style of yoga that links breath and movement through a nimble sequence of Sun Salutations and postures. The smooth, continuous flow deepens breathing, increases strength and endurance, and will test the edge of your balance and flexibility. Depending on the level, vinyasa classes often include advanced postures such as handstands, arm balances, or backbends. This class is led with music.
